External textile screens combine solar shading with a clean façade design. For windows, glazed areas and terrace sides, we select fabrics and guides around glare control, outward visibility and installation conditions.
Balance glare control and visibility
Screen fabric affects the balance of daylight, outward visibility and façade appearance. Explain whether the space behind it is used for work, living or outdoor seating. Where possible, assess a sample in the intended light conditions. Privacy cannot be assumed for every lighting condition or time of day.
ZIP guides and installation space
A ZIP system guides the fabric along its sides. The cassette, guide rails and lower edge must suit the window opening and intended installation. Account for handles, window leaves and existing blinds. Permitted dimensions and wind exposure are assessed for the specific system rather than assumed from a general performance claim.
Individual windows or a whole façade
For several systems, plan cassette appearance, colours and control groups together. Property managers benefit from clear identification by room and façade. For a terrace-side screen, access routes and connections to the roof structure also need review. Compare the initial visual effect in the 3D studio.

Does a solar screen replace an insect screen?
Not automatically. Textile screens are selected for shading; insect protection requires appropriate mesh and perimeter details. If you want both functions, we assess the combination for the actual opening.
